Andriy Shevchenko has been elected the new president of the Ukrainian Football Federation

At the congress in Kiev, the 47-year-old Ukrainian received 93 of 94 possible votes, only he did not vote.

During his career, Shevchenko played, for example, for London Chelsea and AC Milan. The player scored 127 goals in 244 matches for the great Italian club. The striker, who represented the Ukrainian national team in 111 matches between 1995 and 2012, scored a total of 48 goals, which is also a team record. At the 2020 European Championships, he was the coach of the Ukrainian national team and coached the team to the quarterfinals.
