The request to change the name was made just before the arrival of the new year on December 29, 2023, indicating Elettra’s desire to start 2024 with a clean slate. While there is no confirmation yet that a name change request has been approved, such processes are generally quite simple and quick. Elettra was married several times, but she never took her husbands’ surnames.
She has been known to audiences as Carmen for decades, especially after playing the character Lani McKenzie in the series “The Coast Guard.”
