The Cabinet Committee on Government Procurement has approved expenditure of Tk 1,923,39,31,876 against eight procurement proposals related to buying lentils, fertilizers and liquefied natural gas (LNG). This includes lentils worth Tk 61 crore 74 lakh, LNG worth Tk 933 crore 94 lakh 6 thousand 876 and fertilizer worth Tk 927 crore 71 lakh 25 thousand.
This expenditure was approved in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Government Procurement held on Thursday (April 25) in the conference room of the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Law Minister Anisul Haque.
