The tax authorities give preferential treatment to many groups of taxpayers. Millions of PIT taxpayers can find some relief or preference for themselves. Some people simply overpaid their PIT and now they can get the money back when filing their annual tax return, i.e. get a refund.
The amounts are considerable, especially when it comes to discounts and preferences. If you settled your PIT correctly in 2023, you can gain several hundred, several thousand, or even tens of thousands of PLN in PIT refund.
If you have already submitted your PIT, but forgot to take into account some relief or preference, you can submit a correction of your PIT return for 2023.

When do we submit PIT returns for 2023?
PIT returns for 2023 can be submitted today, April 30, until midnight. What matters is the postmark date if we submit the return by mail in paper form. If we file our tax return electronically, what matters is at what point it enters the system. You need to obtain an official confirmation of receipt (so-called UPO), because it contains the date of submitting the PIT.
What PIT money can employees count on?
Employees, i.e. full-time employees, can count on a refund if they are entitled to reliefs or preferences and during the year the employer did not take them into account when making advance payments.
Popular discounts include: child relief, thermal modernization relief and the so-called relief zero. It’s about relief for families 4 plus, working seniors and relief for return.
PIT tax relief. How much can you gain?
Child relief is PLN 1,112, 4 groszy per year for the first child (here pay attention to the income criterion) and for the second child (there is no income criterion from the second one)for the third child – PLN 2,000, 4 groszy per year, and for the fourth and each subsequent child – PLN 2,700 per year.
If the employer collected correct PIT advances, the overpayment in the annual tax return will amount to the amount of the relief. For example, with two children you will get PLN 2,224.08 PIT returnwith three children you will get PLN 4,224 12 gr PIT return, a for four – PLN 6,924 12 gr.

Parque Arauco announces multifamily building in Kennedy
Parque Arauco continues to advance in the expansion of its emblematic shopping center on Avenida Kennedy and, in the framework of the ordinary shareholders’ meeting, the company announced the project of what will be the third stage of this project: the construction of a multifamily building inside the complex.
