The closure of the PT Shoes Bata Tbk (BATA) factory in Purwakarta, West Java is in the public spotlight. The head of the Industrial Relations and Employment Social Security Division of the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Bureau, Firman Desa, said that as many as 233 employees were affected by layoffs, or layoffs.
