Coach Liisa shares what to do differently in the new year so that grand weight loss promises don’t just remain promises

“In order for a promise not to remain just a promise, you should think about why you want it and why it is important to you? How has it changed your life for the better? If it is a difficult time and you want to give up, you need to find the strength in yourself of will/discipline to keep going until that breaking point. If you get over this hill, you will soon conquer the mountains. Always think about your dream and changes don’t happen overnight, but good things take time, you have to develop character and be consistent. I recommend setting a realistic goal for a certain period of time and thinking that every day you have the opportunity to do something towards that goal.”

Consistency Tips:

1. Set a goal and think about how it will improve your life?

2. Do it with a friend.

3. Join a new group/community where you can get more support and it’s always easier to be together.

4. Communicate with inspiring people from whom you gain energy and motivation on a daily basis

5. Create new habits step by step and don’t make too many fantastic demands.

6. Keep a diary, write things down. This makes it easier to stay on track if your goals are always in front of you.
