Round three for the Mariners was an identical team score of 283, this time with Fesperman avenging his round two score to finish one under par at 71. Henderson finished his third round at two under par, Hammock finished even once again, and Juarbe and Burke both shot one over to finish the tournament.
VALDOSTA, Ga. – The College of Coastal Georgia men’s golf team had one of their best performances of the season at the Kinderlou Forest Invite with a second place team finish, while Thomas Henderson earned a second place individual finish at seven under par.

With their combined scores of 296, 283, and 283, CCGA finished second in the tournament, posting an overall score of two under par, only trailing the winner Dalton State who finished 15 under par. Cumberland University finished third at four over, Truett-McConnell finished fourth at eight over, and Reinhardt rounded out the top five with a finish of 16 over par.
The men are back in action next Monday and Tuesday as they travel to Okatie, SC to participate in the USCB Oldfield Classic hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
The Mariners finished the final few holes of round two and went straight into round three on Tuesday morning, improving by 13 shots from rounds one to two, shooting a team round of 283. While Henderson was busy shooting a four under par, his teammates were putting in work of their own, with Antonio Juarbe finishing one under, Brad Hammock and Finley Burke finishing at even par, and Trey Fesperman not far behind at three over.
