Did you vote for the final? Peter Põder’s behavior in Estonian song semi-final raises questions – TV3

Estonia Song 2024 finalist Peter Põder will participate in the singing competition with his song “Korra veel”, but after Saturday’s semi-final he was subjected to harsh criticism despite reaching the final.

In fact, many people are disappointed that Põder voted for himself several times to reach the final. In an article delivered to Kroonika, Eurovision expert Olavi Pihlamägi underlined: “The young man was very confident in the clip in which he presented himself, with whom he collaborated, and when he went on stage, this song really sunk in with him on stage, but you see, there is nothing to do, we have so many fingers crossed that they are in the final”, Pihlamägi referred to the fact that Põder voted a lot for himself.

A person linked to Eesti Laulu, who wished to remain anonymous, also spoke to the TV3 portal, saying that during the semi-final, the reactions of the people on site showed that Peter’s behavior was considered strange. A source told our portal: “I understand that you vote for yourself sometimes, but giving yourself tens or hundreds of votes is a bit strange.”

If you read the comments on YouTube under the song, unfortunately, there is also a lot of criticism: “The guy didn’t hit a single note, but he still made it to the final.” There are several comments with similar content.

On the Ta X platform, Peter’s performance is not written in a very positive tone.
