Writer Sass Henno has released his dumbest investment of the year. On Wednesday in the morning program of Äripää radio you will be able to hear how he came up with such an investment idea, on which he bases his investment and why he despises investors who boast of their great victories.

Finance Minister Mart Võrklaev must explain the government union’s decision to abandon the tax increase planned for 2025 and instead ask for a loan to cover state budget expenses.

According to Jan Inno, director of the Matsimoka meat industry, which built a new production building last year, the company has had good growth, but profits have remained disturbingly modest. 10.00-11.00 “Show on content marketing”. This time, in the “Universe of Investment Ideas” program, we take a look at the United States. What is the basis of this country’s economic success? What is it American dreamwhat is nature like today? Is inequality growing in America? What is the outlook for the US economy and what US company stocks do experts value? At the end of the program, reading recommendations are also shared to better understand the United States. On the show, Hanno Lindpere from KPMG, Kaius Kiivramees from LHV, Andreas Kaju from Meta Advisory and host Hando Sinisalu discuss US topics.

11.00-12.00 “Trinita on air”. In the show we talk about what happened on the transaction market in the year ending 2023. We analyze the validity of the forecasts made at the beginning of the year and the market performance, talk about industry differences, fundraising and predict what will influence transaction activity in 2024 and from which areas transactions can be expected. Siim Maripuu, Trinit’s lawyer and head of the transactions team, and Ergo Blumfeldt, Trinit’s managing partner and lawyer, are visiting. The show is hosted by Gregor Alaküla.

12.00–13.00 “The best of the day”. The topic of the program this time is the TOP of furniture manufacturers, and the host of the program is Janek Uustamm, owner and director of Mööblipro, which became the first in the TOP. In the second part of the fair, Indrek Alliksaar, head of audit services at KPMG, comments on the trend of the sector. The presenter is Sigrid Kõiv.

1.00pm–2.00pm “Stories of leaders”. Sirli Männiksaar, who worked for 20 years in one of Estonia’s most important industries, Ericsson Estonia, rose through the organization to become its manager. 3.00–4.00 pm “Forest and economy”. The show takes listeners to October, when the conference “Business Plan of the Wood Industry 2024” was held in Tartu. We will bring you two presentations: first, Meelis Seedre, head of the forestry department of the Ministry of Climate, will talk about the green revolution and its effects on forestry, while in the second half of the show you will hear a presentation from Lauri Raid, head of product development organic products at VKG, talks about the production of organic products as a so far untapped opportunity in Estonia.
