As a reminder, 81 national and provincial deputy candidates were invalidated by the CENI for the same facts.
However, the CENI invites everyone to healthy, fair competition, devoid of any form of corruption and fraud.
Note that the election of senators is set for March 31 while that of governors and vice-governors is scheduled for April 7 of the current year.
Therefore, the electoral center argues that it reserves the right to take legal action with a view to investigations and possible exemplary sanctions against all those cited.
Through a press release signed by the rapporteur of this democracy support institution, the CENI maintains that this act punishable by the penal code exposes its perpetrators to legal proceedings.
