The company transported iron and iron ore worth 777 million euros across the eastern border, most of which was brought to the European Union.
The iron comes from the deposits of the infamous Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov.
“Vladimir Putin one of the favorite oligarchs,” the European Union headlined him on February 28, 2022 in the decision to impose an embargo, after which Usmanov’s personal assets in Europe were frozen.
