Sylvester Stallone, the star of the hit series “Tulsa King,” has been accused of creating a “toxic environment” for background actors on the set in Atlanta. SAG-AFTRA, the union representing performers, has responded to these allegations, emphasizing that there is no place for disparaging comments towards any actors or performers on a set.
The union spokesperson stated, “Though we have not been contacted directly about the incident on set of ‘Tulsa King’ in Atlanta, SAG-AFTRA is committed to the safety and well-being of cast members on all productions.” While it’s worth noting that SAG-AFTRA’s agreements do not cover background actors in Atlanta specifically, they are still willing to provide guidance and support if requested.
A source close to production revealed that department heads have addressed this matter on set and stressed the importance of creating a respectful workplace. However, Sylvester Stallone himself has remained silent on these allegations. Additionally, Paramount has yet to respond to Variety’s request for comment regarding SAG-AFTRA’s statement.

When you open the door you not only feel this particularly dark, cool and casual atmosphere. No, it’s like entering another world. What immediately catches your eye are the numerous instruments distributed in the small basement room: guitars, synthesizers and e-drums. The floor is covered with old Persian carpets, there are transport cases in the corner and lots of band and festival posters adorn the walls. Occasionally a few fairy lights bring color into play.
It becomes clear as soon as you enter that the home studio of The X, the Luxembourg electropunk duo consisting of Sarah and Yacko, is more than just a room for making music. Inspiration is collected, discussed and experimented here. And here we are currently preparing for the upcoming album release show at the Escher Kulturfabrik on Saturday, April 13th.

There the two present their new album entitled “The World is Burning Let’s Dance” – the follow-up to their debut EP “Some Beautiful Things Come from Dark Places” (2023), which clearly sounds faster, louder and angrier; is simply more punk – as can be heard on the already released singles “FREAK” and “WTF!?”.
