Peacock’s streaming subscription plans are about to undergo a price adjustment, with changes set to take effect this summer. NBCUniversal’s Peacock is increasing the prices on its monthly and annual subscriptions, following the announcement from parent company Comcast that the platform gained an impressive 3 million new paid subscribers in Q1 of 2024.
Beginning July 18, new customers will experience an increase in subscription rates. The cost for Peacock Premium will rise by $2 per month, totaling $8 per month, while Peacock Premium Plus will increase by $2 as well, amounting to $14 per month. Annual plans will also witness a significant hike: Premium subscribers will now pay $80 per year instead of the previous rate of $60; and for Premium Plus subscribers, the annual fee rises from $120 to $140. Existing subscribers can expect their subscriptions to transition into these new rates starting August 17.
