ERR in Ukraine: Russian attack that hit Kharkiv destroyed residential buildings Foreign country

On Tuesday night and Tuesday morning, Russia attacked several Ukrainian cities with missiles, including Kiev and Kharkiv. According to official data, six people died and more than 70 were injured. The following story may contain disturbing footage.

Tuesday morning began with a Russian missile attack on Kharkiv. Dozens of people lost their homes in an instant. There are dead and many injured.

Here is an ordinary residential area, five-story houses, the so-called “khrushchevkas”. And when Russian rockets fell here at seven in the morning, almost all residents were still at home.

“We just went down the stairs to go to Kiev. We opened the trunk of the car. My daughter was next to us and just as I opened the trunk several explosions were heard and one of the rockets hit our house,” Anastasia said .

The goal of the first rescuers who arrive is to help those who can still be helped. After the rocket hit, confusion arose among residents: people frantically searched for their belongings, loved ones and pets.

“We are currently looking for our two British gray cats. Maybe they were lucky too. In general, we hope that the Russian Federation will cease to exist in the near future,” Anastasia said.

Lilia said she had just come here to pick up the kids from another part of town. “I can’t say anything now. The children are alive,” she said.

During the night and morning, 12 rockets hit Kharkiv. These were Iskander, S-300 and X-22. The latter is the most powerful in the Russian arsenal, and this is what caused the destruction here. Houses located several hundred meters from the impact site were also damaged.

My baby was so scared that we had to hide in the bathroom. I grabbed her arm off the bed and we ran. Now he is so scared that he doesn’t even dare to go out. The house we moved here from two months ago is no longer there. Everything is destroyed.

Viktoria said that a year ago the United Nations Charitable Fund repaired all the windows in their house. Now they flew again. “The substation burned down, there is no electricity left, but this is a small thing, we will survive. Fortunately we are all healthy too. But what is happening around us is just terrible,” Viktoria said.
