The general classification of the World Championship continues to be headed by the Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) with 48 points, the result of his victory in Monte Carlo and his fourth place on this occasion. Second is Evans with 45 and third is Fourmaux with 29. The next test will be the Safari Rally, in Kenya, between March 28 and 31.
Behind, Evans was ambitious and, on the closing day, he left the three tracks with two second places and one first; which allowed him to shave more than fifty seconds off Lappi and finish behind him in the table (2:33:34). Third was finally Fourmaux with 2:33:52.

Lappi, who led from the penultimate of the seven routes on Friday and faced the final day with an advantage of 1:06.3 over the Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux (Ford) and 1:23.0 over the British Elfyn Evans (Toyota), focused on maintain their lead, finishing Sunday with two seventh places and one sixth for a total time of 2:33:04.
Regarding the current world champion, the Finnish Kalle Rovanpëra (Toyota), who was not at the opening of the course and therefore in Sweden competed in the first of his limited racing program, he took revenge for the consequences of his departure in the track in Friday’s fourth special. With no chance of fighting for the title, he won two stages on Sunday.
