Mehdi Sekkouri Alaoui, President of the FMPS, indicated: “this initiative aims to highlight the benefits of practicing sport in a professional environment and thus ensure that it becomes a real culture within as many people as possible. Moroccan companies. In any case, the FMPS is fully mobilized to support leaders wishing to move in this direction.”
All public or private companies operating on Moroccan territory with a minimum of 20 employees are eligible for the “Sports Company” label. Nonprofit organizations with more than 20 employees can also apply. Applications are open from February 1, 2024 to February 29, 2024 through the FMPS website: www.fmpsport.ma. Once the label is awarded, it is valid until December 31, 2025.
Applications will be evaluated by a jury which must take into consideration a certain number of criteria: Organization of sporting events for employees, development or provision of sports infrastructure, awareness campaigns, participation in financing access rights to sports halls etc.
