Mother’s Heartbreaking Conversation with Dying Son Revealed: Nolan Finds Hope in Heaven

Finding Strength through Loss: A Mother’s Journey with Cancer

In a world struck by heartbreak and loss, one mother’s incredible journey stands as a symbol of love, resilience, and hope. Ruth Scully, from Leonardtown, Maryland, experienced the devastating loss of her four-year-old son Nolan in February 2017 to Rhabdomyosarcoma – a rare form of cancer that affects soft skeletal tissue.

Ruth vividly remembers her last conversation with Nolan before he peacefully passed away. As they shared precious moments together, Nolan expressed his unwavering determination to wait for his mother in Heaven and play until they could reunite once again.

Rhabdomyosarcoma is an aggressive cancer that spreads rapidly throughout the body. Despite undergoing intense treatments for over a year, Nolan’s fight against this relentless disease ultimately came to an end. The young boy spent 15 months battling this formidable enemy before succumbing to its devastating effects.

A Heartbreaking Conversation

“It hurts to breathe doesn’t it?” – Ruth asked tenderly.

“Weeeelll… yeah,” replied Nolan with strength amid pain.

You’re in a lot of pain aren’t you baby? Poot,
this cancer stuff sucks. You don’t have
to fight anymore.”
Ruth whispered gently.

I don’t. But I will for you Mommy, assured
Nolan faithfully.

Is that what you have been doing?? Fighting for Mommy?” Ruth questioned tearfully.

Well DUH! Nolan responded bravely.

“What is Mommy’s job?” Ruth asked, her eyes filled with emotion.

“To keep me safe,” Nolan grinned wholeheartedly.

As a mother torn between immense love and unmanageable pain, Ruth explained to No

Culprit of the diseases of civilization? Deadly Quartet!

Civilization disease is a term for a group of diseases that occur more often in developed countries than in third world countries. They are believed to be the result of a modern urban lifestyle. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), prevention plays a vital role in the fight against these diseases.

According to her, it is necessary to focus on measures against the »deadly quartet«. This term sometimes refers to a combination of:

  1. bad way of eating
  2. lack of physical activity
  3. smoking
  4. excessive drinking of alcohol

According to other authors, it is a combination of obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. All together lead to unnecessary and premature deaths across Europe.

The killer of half the humanity in Europe

Cancer, heart attack, stroke, diabetes – these are the main causes of death in Europe and here as well as one of the causes of disability. They arise primarily due to an unhealthy lifestyle. Free radicals then accumulate in the human body, which accelerate the development of many diseases.

Which disease is it?

  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Diabetes
  • Respiratory disease (asthma, allergies)
  • Cancer
  • Kidney diseases

Prevention is simple, but…

In addition to regular preventive examinations by a general practitioner, which will indicate the beginning of the mentioned diseases, we can do a lot for our health. But even if preventive recommendations fit into a few words, they are already more difficult to implement. What actually prevents us from a healthy lifestyle?

Laziness kills

Almost everyone knows that regular exercise plays an important role in prevention. But not everyone is willing to overcome their laziness and start moving. At first, the most natural thing is enough – ordinary walking. Let’s skip the car a few times a week, take the stairs, get off one stop earlier and walk! And over time, the following positive effects will occur:

  • the extra kilos will disappear
  • blood pressure will decrease
  • diabetes values will improve
  • shortness of breath will be reduced

Cigarettes to cancer

Smoking is considered one of the most serious causes of death from chronic non-infectious diseases, which could, however, be effectively prevented. It is confirmed to cause lung and mouth and throat cancer, is a risk factor for stroke, heart attack, damages t

Ethics or “ethics”? The role of artificial intelligence in medicine

The age of artificial intelligence has arrived with promises of change and progress in almost every aspect of our lives. In the field of medicine, this technology promises to revolutionize the way we diagnose, treat and understand diseases. However, with this technological advancement comes a significant dilemma: Can artificial intelligence replace human art in medicine? Furthermore, the uncertainty is so great that some even go so far as to attribute human behaviors to these technological tools. For example, the AI ethics in medicine is a topic of growing debate in the medical and technological fields. We forget that machines do not have ethics, but “ethics”, that is, they are not governed by ethical but mathematical principles. Those of us who must be governed by ethical principles are those human beings who dedicate themselves to the design and development of these systems and those who will use them.

So you remember, The four fundamental principles of medical ethics are non-maleficence, beneficence, justice and autonomy. Nonmaleficence requires that doctors cause no harm to patients. Beneficence implies the obligation of healthcare professionals to always act in the best interests of the patient. Justice requires that all patients be treated equally. Finally, autonomy refers to respecting the patient’s ability to make informed decisions about their health care. Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) has expanded these ethical principles, adapting them to developers of artificial intelligence tools, regardless of whether they come from the healthcare field or not. One of these is human autonomy, which states that humans should retain control over medical decisions. This is not a corporate reaction against new technologies. This principle is based on the fact that the fundamental stone of medical activity is the medical act, a relationship be
