Building on national capital, Holm was the first Estonian bank to develop a credit card with no contract fee, monthly fee or interest. According to the bank director, Krediitkaart 100 with a limit of 100 euros is a safe choice for young people practicing financial behavior or for people who need a risk-free credit card for specific purchases.

“We have developed a credit card with no monthly fee, no interest and no contractual fee, with a limit of 100 euros per monthly use. The amount used must be repaid by the 10th of the following month, after which a new limit of 100 will open euro. Such a simple product is suitable for those who, in addition to the everyday bank card, need a credit card for certain regular purchases or to pay for services, which does not involve additional costs,” said Kaspar Kalvet, CEO of Holm.

According to him, Krediitkaart 100 is also a suitable solution for customers who do not want to link their bank account to different order environments or who want to keep purchases made via popular mobile applications within strict limits.

“One possible customer group for us is young people over 18, for whom this could be their first credit card. A limit of 100 euros is sufficient to make automatic monthly payments for Spotify, Netflix and other streaming, set aside a fixed budget to use a food delivery service, taxi or taxi service, make small purchases in online stores or cover small unexpected expenses. . This helps model responsible financial behavior and reduces the risk of a person contracting a debt to the bank due to overestimation of one’s capabilities,” Kalvet added.

Krediitkaart 100 can be used both as a plastic card and as a virtual card and, like a normal credit card, free purchase insurance applies to it.

Holm Bank has significantly expanded its service offering in recent months. In the summer Holm launched a leasing and refinancing loan solution for private individuals, and at the end of the year a unique installment payment solution Liisi Pluss was launched on the Estonian market, where it is no longer necessary to apply by filling out an application in-store, but just take a photo of the product and price tag with a smartphone and upload it to the bank’s self-service environment.

“We are Estonia’s bank with roots in Haapsalu, and this is our great strength. We can react quickly to signals received from customers and flexibly test different solutions that offer the customer something unique compared to the options available on the market so far. This corporate philosophy has given a good impetus to our business in recent years and has led to a rapid increase in business volumes,” said the bank director.

Holm Bank AS is a bank with Estonian capital, authorized by the European Central Bank. Holm Bank owns the Liisi and Holm brands. The bank’s services include term deposits, physical and virtual credit cards, financing for private and corporate customers and installment payments. The bank also offers term deposits in Germany and Austria and is the owner of the company Holm Bank Latvia SIA, which operates as a financial services provider in Latvia.
