IGOR TARO DIARY UKRAINE ⟩ Russia manages to send more and more fresh blood to the front, it must be ready for the Ukrainian retreat

UKRAINE DIARY 2.12: The Ukrainian side seems to be on the defensive almost everywhere, and the Russian occupiers manage to maintain the momentum of the offensive in many directions. That in itself doesn’t mean major changes on the front lines, at least for now, but it should give allies pause about how much support and speed of delivery Ukraine needs to hold Russia back.

In the master plan it is seen that the Russian gunners are directing a very large resource of personnel to advance, meter by meter, even in those directions where they have long been unsuccessful. They will probably suffer the greatest losses in the Avdijivka area, which has been the focus of the occupiers’ main efforts for several weeks.

In the operational direction of Luhansk, the Russian occupiers are trying to maintain pressure on the city of Kupyansk, and their forward positions have reached the border of the village of Sinkovka, although this settlement still remains a line of defense for the Ukrainians. In the last week there have been no significant changes on the front in this area, even though the offensive pressure from the occupiers is strong.
