In Kuressaare, Saaremaa, a chain reaction occurred involving three vehicles

The emergency center was informed of a traffic accident on Tallinn Street at 5.18pm.

Rünno Kurm, the field director of the Kuressaare station, told Delf that a 77-year-old man drove a Skoda Kodiaq car into a Mitsubishi driving in front of him, driven by a 62-year-old man. As a result of the collision, the Mitsubishi, in turn, crashed into the front-most Skoda Superb car, driven by a 51-year-old man.

“No one was injured in the accident,” Kurm confirmed. “The drivers were sober and legal and all people were wearing seatbelts. Motorists turn to insurance.”

The field driver also reminded motorists that the roads are slippery, so it is important to choose a driving speed appropriate for weather and road conditions and maintain sufficient distance from other vehicles.
