Turin’s Juventus were the last to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup.

The 14-time cup winners fell behind to hosts Salernitana 59 seconds after kick-off, but recovered quickly and took the lead at half-time with goals from Fabio Miretti and Andrea Cambiaso.

In the second half the hosts scored another four goals, thanks to Daniele Rugani, Kenan Yildiz and Timothy Weah. Salernitana defender Dylan Bronn also contributed, sending the ball into his net.

In the quarter-finals Juventus will meet Frosinone, promoted to the Premier League for this season. The winner of the pairing will face the winner of the match between the top four teams of the capital Rome and Lazio. In the remaining pairs, Fiorentina and Bologna and Milan and Atalanta will compete.
