The Latvians won the first quarter with 18:17, but Kalev/Cramo went into halftime with a 39:36 lead. The tie also continued in the second half: at the end of the third quarter, the leading Estonian club was leading with 55:54, and when the final siren sounded, its winning streak was 75:71.
Severi Kaukiainen and Mihkel Kirves were the most productive in Kalev/Cramo, both scored 14 points, Kregor Hermet added 10 points. Ugis Pinete (19) and Isiah Osborne (15) drove Zell’s toy cart.
Today’s victory also means that Kalev/Cramo will arrive at Christmas as leaders of the Estonian-Latvian championship: they have 13 wins and 1 defeat in 14 games.
