Lotte Kopecky won two golds in 20 minutes at the European Track Race

In the points race, Kopecky collected 24 points, which gave a clear victory over the Norwegian Anita Yvonne Stenberg (19 points) and the Czech Jarmila Machacova (18). In the elimination race the Belgian, who is also the reigning world champion in both races, beat the German Lea Lin Teutenberg and the English Jessica Roberts.

“When I first saw the race schedule, I wasn’t very happy,” Kopecky said after two races. “Luckily I had the coach’s approval and was able to start in both fields. In the end everything went well: winning two European titles in half an hour marks a special result and day.”

In total, Kopecky won six European champions and six world trekking championships. Last year you also won the world title in the women’s road team race.
