Matek, a manufacturer of wooden houses, will stop producing modules for an eight-storey wooden apartment block this year following an order received from Finland. German apartment buildings are also being renovated.

Negotiations are currently underway for future projects in Germany, Iceland and Finland.

“Here we are completing the largest wooden apartment construction project in Finland. This is a project consisting of four eight-storey buildings and 233 apartments, which we have been producing for about five months this year. The first two were built in spring, the last two from October”, explained Mats.

“And secondly, we renovate apartment buildings in a factory in Germany. We have renovated 15 buildings, today we are market leaders and we see great potential in this renovation sector both in Germany and in Tallinn. workforce. I think we have about half strength local work and half foreign, mainly from Ukraine and Moldova”, he added.
