Mošnikov looking for a new location in Estonia: I wouldn’t rule anything out at the moment – Soccernet.ee

Sergei Mošnikov, who left the Paide City team after last season, has not yet found a new place to play, but hopes to continue his playing career.

“There is nothing to talk about right now. I look around, there have been some calls and stories,” Mošnikov told Soccernet.ee a month and a half before the start of the new Premium League season.

The attacking midfielder, who recently turned 36, has spent much of his career abroad, playing in the Netherlands, Poland, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Finland and Lithuania. However, he no longer tends to go across the border: “There have been some stories from abroad, but I don’t want to go there myself.”

At the same time Mošnikov confirmed that for the moment he will not rule out anything in his homeland, not even a return to his hometown Pärnu. However, the end of his career is not impossible. “I don’t have a team right now,” he said.

Mošnikov spent the previous four seasons at Paide, where he played a total of 114 league matches, scored 14 goals and provided 32 assists. Now he doesn’t want to talk about that period: “Not that there was anything bad, we broke up normally, but I’m no longer their player and it’s not right for me to talk about them.”

In the Estonian A team, Mošnikov played 35 matches and scored two goals. In the Estonian Premier League, in addition to Paide, he also represented FC Flora and FC Infonet.
