Eat liver-friendly foods
Turmeric, cinnamon, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, beetroot, avocado, lemon and green tea are rich in liver-loving compounds. For additional support, the milk thistle plant can help protect liver cells and promote cell regeneration.
Eggs for breakfast
Poached, scrambled, boiled or fried, the choice is yours, but eggs are rich in the amino acid cysteine, which your liver needs to break down the alcoholic toxin acetylaldehyde.
Go easy on the coffee
Caffeine can actually worsen dehydration, which is the basis of many hangover symptoms. You should consume water instead! In addition to the water mentioned above, coconut water, fresh ginger tea, watermelon, tomato juice, celery and cucumber are also great helpers!

Add honey to your breakfast
A good way to combat low glucose is to spread a tablespoon or two of antioxidant-rich fructose honey on your morning toast.
Keep your stomach full
When your stomach is full, it is much more difficult for your body to absorb alcohol.
Get up and take action
Even though it may seem like the last thing you want to do… some light exercise can help ease a hangover. Exercise stimulates the body’s metabolism, which naturally accelerates the body’s processing speed and alcohol detoxification.
