Ahead of the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, a video going viral on social media is being claimed to be of the protest held in Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab against the use of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). It is being claimed that a movement against EVMs has started in Punjab before the Lok Sabha elections.
Vishvas News found this to be wrong in its investigation. The viral video is of a religious festival held in Himachal Pradesh, which is being shared with the fake claim of being an EVM protest.
