Launched on Tuesday (9), Operation End of the Line aimed to dismantle an organization linked to two companies suspected of money laundering am St. Paul for the criminal faction PCC (First Capital Command). The scheme generated R$732 million from 2020 to 2022.

WHAT IS THE SCHEME SHOWN?
Operation End of the Line was launched on Tuesday (9) against two bus companies operating in the city of Sao Paulo suspected of money laundering in favor of the criminal faction PCC (First Capital Command). The objectives included the execution of 4 arrest warrants and 52 search and seizure warrants. According to the Prosecutor’s Office there were clear signs of cartelization.
WHICH ARE THE COMPANIES INVOLVED?
One of the companies is Transfwolff and the other UPBus. According to SPTrans, the operation of the two mobilizes 1,500 buses, the majority of which, 1,443 vehicles, come from Transwollf. The company transports passengers to the south of the capital.
UPBus provides service in the north and east. For comparison, the fleet in the city of Sao Paulo is 13,289 vehicles.
Together, the companies have received more than R$800 million from the municipality of São Paulo in 2023 for transport services in the city.
