Fire Breaks Out at Oceanside Pier
On a Thursday afternoon, firefighters rushed to the far end of the Oceanside Pier to combat a raging blaze that was reported shortly after 3 p.m.
The scene was filled with a massive plume of smoke as two fire-fighting boats arrived, shooting water cannons at the structure located at the end of the pier. A lone pickup truck, potentially a lifeguard vehicle, was stationed at the foot of the pier with a long fire hose extending the length of the pier. Additionally, two other vehicles with flashing lights were spotted at the far end of the pier.
