The first reports of fire came in around 11.15am. The “fire master” signal was given around 1.40pm.
Photos and videos show meter-high flames shooting out of the roof of the barn. There was also quite a bit of smoke released. Local residents were advised to close windows and doors and turn off mechanical ventilation if they were bothered by the smoke. Extracting water in the area was quite difficult, so additional fire trucks with water had to be brought in from all over the region.
