November held an early Christmas surprise for investor Toomas

If a Christmas rally occurs in the markets in December, at the end of the year I can proudly report on the annual growth of my investment portfolio of more than 20%, writes investor Toomas.

My portfolio has not yet reached such a high level this year and November brought the second result of the year, where the monthly growth was 3.5% and the total portfolio growth was over 18,000 euros, writes investor Toomas in his November investment roundup.

November really broke records this year in my portfolio, I see it every day. For more than half a month the portfolio exceeded 545,000 euros: the last time I could report on such a portfolio size was in April last year, last August the portfolio was only briefly at this limit. If December is as generous to me, the annual return could reach 20%. Cross your fingers.

Hi Virulan, nice to meet you!

A great wave of positivity was brought to the markets in November by the knowledge that the Federal Reserve decided not to increase interest rates, while remaining in the 5.25-5.50% range, the highest of the last 22 years. US inflation is slowing much faster than expected, which could push the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy in an even more accommodative direction. Some strategists predict interest rate cuts as early as March.
