Suarez, who turns 37 in January, has made 138 appearances for Uruguay and scored 68 goals. After leaving Barcelona, he played for Atletico Madrid for two years, then returned to his homeland to join Nacional and from there, in January, to Gremio in Brazil. His contract with Gremio was terminated prematurely due to knee problems. So Suarez moved to Miami Inter as a free agent.
