PHOTO | “Anna, please forgive me!” An eye-catching Repinski-style poster hangs on the streets of Tallinn

On Wednesday morning, near the Center Party office, on Narva maantee, in the center of Tallinn, a large poster appeared in which an unknown citizen apologizes to Anna. “Anna, please forgive me!” reads the giant poster. The apology is also presented in Russian.

Samalaat’s poster also hangs on Voidujooks Bridge in Tallinn’s Lasnamäe neighborhood.

Unfortunately, who is behind this masterpiece is unclear, just as it is unclear whether Anna accepted the apology.

Such statements became especially famous precisely because the former minister and politician Martin Repinski expressed his love for his partner Ekaterina Vassiljeva in this way in January 2020. “Katja, I love you!” The romantic phrase was printed on the poster in both Estonian and Russian.

Repinski himself then admitted to Kroonika that the large poster means nothing more than the fact that he loves the person he is with. “Sometimes I do such unusual things,” Repinski admitted and explained that if someone is dear to him, he wants to say it in a big way. Even if Vassiljeva’s reaction is not yet known, according to the lover, such a surprise cannot have negative effects. “No woman can mind this.”
