Near Puhja is the tiny village of Nasja, where on the evening of January 12 a house was completely destroyed by fire. The fire was reported to the emergency room on Friday evening at 6.56pm. When rescuers arrived at 7.20pm, flames had already invaded the building. The house was razed to the ground, nearby buildings were not affected by the fire. Police arrested a 30-year-old man as a suspect in the arson, Tartu Postimees reported.

Tuesday morning it’s windy and gusty outside, the streets are covered in snow, it’s snowing softly, the thermometer reads minus ten degrees. To reach the village of Nasja, you must first travel 22 kilometers from Tartu towards Viljandi. Then you have to turn from the main road onto a smaller one, which leads to the village of Rämsi, where there are some apartment buildings and a small shop on the side of the road. The streets become narrower and whiter and can barely be distinguished from the fields. Continuing from Räms you will soon arrive in Nasja, which is located in the desolate area between the fields.
