Poll: Trump gains support among Republican voters | foreign country

A CBS poll shows that Donald Trump is by far the most popular presidential candidate among Republicans. Trump has received four formal impeachments since the end of his term, but his support has increased to 69%.

In the US, primary elections begin this week, Republican voters in the state of Iowa will vote for the presidential candidate as early as January 15th.

Trump’s legal problems have not dented his support among Republicans. Republican voters still see Trump as the best candidate to defeat President Joe Biden. Nationally, Trump’s support among Republicans is 69%, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ support is 14% and Nikki Haley is in third place with 12%, CBS News reported.

Some of Trump’s rivals say the former president’s legal troubles could hurt his chances of winning November’s general election. Although Haley is gaining support among voters, his support does not come close to Trump’s.

Haley and DeSantis hope that individual state results will change the dynamics of the election. Most Republican voters, however, said the results in Iowa and New Hampshire would not influence their decision.

Republican voters want a presidential candidate who promises to cut taxes and fight back he woke up against ideology. However, on some issues, voters’ opinions differ significantly.

Trump uses tough rhetoric on border policy. Nationally, most voters disagree with such language. However, 97% of MAGA voters agree with such talk. MAGA refers to Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again”. 65% of Republicans support Trump’s tough border policy.

Most MAGA voters want Trump to indict his opponents if elected. Others however do not support it.

Half of MAGA voters want Trump to take the US out of NATO. However, most Republican voters do not support such a plan.
