Psychological research and background check, or how an Estonian woman got into the Netflix reality show – TV3

Krisse-Ly was born in Viljandi and lived in Estonia for the first 14 years of her life. She spent most of her time in Pärnu. “In 2007 I moved to Stockholm with my mother and I still live there!” says Krisse-Ly. She currently works in interior design and lives her best life with her boyfriend, Dexter.

Krisse-Ly got the idea to participate in the show after watching the American version. “The premise of the show was completely opposite to what I experienced in the real-life dating scene,” she admitted, adding that he was extremely attracted to “Love is Blind.”

When he applied for the show, he didn’t know what it was about, but his instincts told him that the opportunity shouldn’t be missed. There were two criteria to apply: age had to be between 25 and 45 and participants had to be ready for marriage.

However, the application process was long and intense. “It involved background checks, psychological tests, countless interviews with various characters, and a long wait!” Kuldkepp said. The filming period lasted about 2 months, but the woman was not allowed to delve into the details.

Krisse-Ly says the audience’s interest in the show has been greater than any of them could have imagined. “At the moment I’m still getting used to it and trying to cope with this new daily life, but to be honest it’s quite difficult,” she reveals. The woman is also surprised that the show has become so popular in her country. “Many Estonians write and express their support. It gets to my heart like crazy, but at the same time I still feel like the normal, simple Krisse-Ly I’ve always been!”

Krisse-Ly does not follow Estonian reality shows, as they are not available in Sweden. However, she really likes the Estonian song. “I’ve had it since I was a kid guilty pleasure state, so I always follow it!” He said he also recommended it to his Swedish friends. “The advantage of moving abroad is that you can also send votes to your home country,” says Krisse-Ly.
