Urvo has been involved in off-roading for a long time, but found its way into rally raids a few years ago.
The team’s first car was the Century Racing CR6, with which they learned, developed and managed to bring home victories in two important races, the Fenix Rally and the Rallye Breslau.
In 2023, Urvo tried its hand at a 4-wheel drive rally raid vehicle for the first time. It was a Toyota Hilux DKR, and with the same car Urvo also participated in his first Dakar, which unfortunately had to be canceled due to a technical failure.

Rally raids don’t happen alone and Urvo’s cousin Risto Lepik was by his side the whole time.
The 2024 Dakar is no exception, and two boys who played together in the sandbox as children will also go side by side on the large sand fields.
They ran cross-country together, who knows for how long. Rally raid was born from offroad, and so these two men were in the same car both in moments when they stood on the podium and in situations where they had to spend the night in the cockpit of a Toyota Hilux with a faulty gearbox . . The job of the Rally Raid card reader is not easy. Screens flash before Risto’s eyes, where the necessary information must be translated into a language that the driver can understand and do accurately, otherwise a simple wrong turn can lead to a journey of several hundred kilometers.
Urvo and Risto will not settle for anything less than being the best: Dakar 2024 goal: TOP20!
