According to De Niro, being the father of a little girl at the age of 80 is wonderful and brings him only positive emotions. “Everything I worry about, or felt I should worry about, just disappears when I look at it,” the star said. “He looks at me and observes me in a very particular way,” De Niro continued. “I don’t know what will happen when he gets older, but I want to be part of his life as long as possible and enjoy it.”
Killers of the Flower star Moon De Niro announced in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada last May that he had just welcomed his seventh child. When the interviewer asked the showman about her six children, De Niro responded that she had “seven, actually,” adding, “I just had a baby.” A few days later, De Niro said in another interview that the birth of a new child was not accidental: it was planned, HuffPost reports.
De Niro had his seventh child with his current partner, Tiffany Chen, who is a martial arts teacher. Rumors about De Niro and Chen’s relationship first began to spread in 2021, when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in France.
De Niro has six other children from previous relationships, including daughter Drena, 52, and son Raphael, 47, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott. He also has twins, Julian and Aaron, 28, born from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith. With his second wife Grace Hightower, De Niro has a son Elliot (25) and a daughter Helen (13).
