Shein was part of the Dordrecht team after a two and a half month break Football

Dordrecht, home club of Estonian national team midfielder Rocco Robert Shein, played away in the Dutch Premier League drawing 2:2 against doubles team Ajax from Amsterdam.

Shein last played for the Estonian national team in the European Championship qualifying series against Austria on November 16, but missed the subsequent European Championship qualifying match against Sweden due to injury, reports Soccernet.ee.

“I have been injured since my time with the national team. I was injured in the match against Austria: I have a sprain of the lateral cruciate ligament in my knee. The recovery is going well,” Shein told the portal last year.

On Monday, Shein concluded a two-and-a-half-month rest period, missing eight league matches and one cup match during that period. The 20-year-old Shein intervened against Ajax’s brace in the 84th minute of the match, when all the goals had been scored.

Dordrecht are in sixth place in the Dutch Premier League table. Ajax’s brace is 15th, or sixth from the back.
