Next season’s combined national team will consist of a group A with three men and three women.
Last year there were 13 top-level athletes, nine men and four women.
For next season, the two teams will be merged into one, while drastic cuts will be made, it reports NRK.
– We want to intensify our efforts even more to play the World Cup at home next year and optimize our efforts against the best, says sports director Ivar Stuan to the channel.
The six athletes who will be part of the National A are: Jørgen Graabak, Ida Marie Hagen, Gyda Westvold Hansen, Mari Leinan Lund, Jens Lurås Oftebro and Jarl Magnus Riiber.
