The quality of Taebla’s tap water, which became unusable at the end of November, improved when Haapsalu Aqueduct washed, disinfected and rinsed the pipe and installed an antibacterial filter, but the reason why the residents of the ten condominiums whether Taebla and Nigula could not drink tap water for more than a month is still unknown.
“We are waiting for the beginning of January to take new samples. They will go on the road on January 4,” Kaido Erik, member of the board of directors of Haapsalu Veevärg, told Lääne Elu on December 27.
