Tall Ships Races 2024 invites children to participate in a drawing competition

Tall Ships Races 2024, a regatta of large sailing training ships taking place in Tallinn this summer, invites children aged 5 to 12 to participate in the “Wind in the Sails!” drawing competition, which is inspired by the sea, to sailing and Tallinn. . Works can be submitted until March 31st and there will be prizes for the best ones.

Drawing competition “Wind in the sails!” it is open to all children aged 5 to 12. Each author can present a work. The drawing format is A4 or A3 and the drawings can be vertical or horizontal. Please photograph your work and send it digitally. The drawing must be done by hand (not digitally). You can register for the competition and submit your work at www.tallinn.ee/tuultpurjedesse. All drawings are reviewed by a jury, which selects the three best drawings in each age category: 5-7 years, 8-10 years and 11-12 years. The winners will be announced on Child Protection Day on June 1 in the Lennusadama outdoor area. Three winners will be awarded for each age category. The awards are awarded by the Tallinn Culture and Sports Authority and Tall Ships Races Tallinn 2024 in cooperation with partners. The best works are displayed in a public exhibition in the urban space of Tallinn.

From 11 to 14 July 2024, an extraordinary celebration at sea of ​​the Tall Ships Races will take place in Tallinn, bringing more than 50 large sailing ships to the capital’s ports. For four days, the ports of Tallinn are filled with a special party atmosphere: you can visit sailing ships, listen to the best Estonian artists and take part in activities on land and at sea.
