Tartu JK Tammeka announced in the joint media that coach Marti Pähn and assistant coach Mait Toom will continue with the representative team in the new season.
In the finished season, Tammeka finished ninth in the Premium League and had to play transfer matches with Viimsi JK to keep its place in the Premier League. Tammeka won the transition games with a combined score of 6:1.
“Managing the representative team of your home club is both an honor and a great responsibility. Our ambition for next season is to play for higher positions than before and to be an example for the entire club with the our hard work,” said Pähn. .
Assistant coach and goalkeeping coach Mait Toom added that last season was difficult, but full of lessons. “I am happy to continue my coaching career at Tammeka. The goal of the new season is to finish higher than this year and offer more joy in victory,” he added.
Pähn, 34, was appointed Tammeka’s supervisor in July last year.
