In the main tournament of the Women’s Baltic League Rae Sports School/VIASTON achieved two victories in December, when the RSU/MSG team was beaten with a score of 3:1 and Riia Võrkpallikool/LU with a score of 3:2. Pertens scored 21 and 20 points respectively. Rae’s women’s team also won all three Estonian championship matches in December, beating BARRUS/Võru Volleyball Club 3:1, Viljandi Metalli 3:1 and Pärnu Sports School 3:0. The corner attacker scored 20 points in the match with the Võru women’s team and 13 points with the Viljandi team, in the match with the Pärnu Pertens representative he did not take the field.
Rae Sports School/VIASTON also played one Estonian Cup match in December, losing 0:3 to TalTech, who were later crowned cup winners, in the rematch of the semi-final series. In the aforementioned clash Pertens scored 11 points as the best of the home team.
The best player of the month will be chosen by all coaches (9) of the Women’s League committee and will be rewarded with EuroVolley 2023 souvenirs. Marily Lass was chosen as the best player in October and Karolina Kibbermann in November.
