There was actually quite a bit of romance in this story. Hollande did not embrace his lover like a brave knight, but rode his scooter into a nearby street. The French were very surprised by the photos of the president in a motorcycle helmet on the doorstep of a stranger’s house and the head of the security team who brought fresh croissants to the lovebirds. A little petty, everyday, anything but majestic or real.
Valérie had been in a relationship with François since 1989 and they started living together after he left his previous partner, politician Ségolène Royal. Unfortunately, Valérie was unable to read the danger signs in time. Later, she recalled how her “nice” colleagues constantly warned her about the politician. However, she didn’t believe it until the truth came out. So the deceived woman did everything she could.
