The coach who guided the Estonian national team player survived a stroke

Czech commercial broadcaster TV Nova reported that Zeman, of Czech-Italian origin, was taken to hospital. The 76-year-old instructor had stroke symptoms before training and needed immediate medical attention.

According to the publication, the Pescara coach, who currently plays in the third strongest league in Italy, is in stable condition, but will still have to undergo several tests.

Zeman, coach since 1974, has coached several top clubs. He worked in Italy at AS Roma, Roma Lazio and Napoli. At the same time, the Turkish football club Fenerbahce from Istanbul.

Zeman did a good job with Pescara, who are third in group B of Serie C. The collaboration also worked well with Tunjov, who managed to become the team’s most productive player in 13 games, scoring six hits.
