In the first show of the year, Kärt and Joonas Hellerma bring the story of Kärt and Joonas Hellerma to listeners. Kärt, who started as a journalist, over time shifted his creative activity towards literature. And Joonas is a familiar TV character from “Plekkdrum”, which has been on the air for ten years.

This time they take on the role of the interviewee and mainly tell stories in which they, their loved ones and family are the main characters.

“You know, with these principles, entire cities of the world have disappeared from the face of the earth. Put these principles aside, it’s time to start working,” Joonas describes a conversation with his grandfather when he was ten years old. The impetus was given by the boy’s testimony and reasoning that he was doing “this thing according to his principles.”

In many ways, his grandfather represented a father to Jonas, who he never really had in his life.

“Joonas was one and a half years old and his brother Juhan was ten days old when dad hung the gate behind him and disappeared from our lives without a trace,” says Kärt.

This track has been warmed to some extent now, almost 40 years later, because the work brought father and son together. Joonas says that contact is necessary to find out what he absolutely doesn’t want to be and what patterns not to repeat.

“The silence was still strange, and if your father meets you on the street, it’s still nice to have some kind of contact,” he adds.

A cell AND Jonas Hellerma they are guests of “The cone doesn’t fall…”. Sunday at 10.10am. Leads the conversation Stan Teppan.
