For those who don’t know, swingers are couple exchanges, that is, couples who are married or in a long-term relationship exchange sexual partners. Elvis Sharps, 43, English, and his partner Tracy Doncaster started swinging more than ten years ago, but their experience took a turn for the worse: it became so bad that they received derogatory comments and even death threats.

They said they experienced the spurs of condemnation. “We were mistreated from the beginning, people called us fat and we looked like mother and son. People judged us by our looks. We met a couple about three times, but they turned on us for no reason. We stopped swinging in January 2023 because things had gotten really bad.”

Tracy, 55, explained that despite all the compliments about how fun and forgiving swinging is, many people are disgusted. “My advice to people is don’t do it, especially if you’re plus size. I wish we never started and I’m happy it’s over now.”

Both Elvis and Tracy agree that there are not enough security checks on swingers’ websites and clubs, meaning people of all ages can join. “There are strange people on these sites and we think they should be shut down, not allowed to continue… It’s very scary.”

But there’s no bad without good: After settling the bill with the swap, the couple say their relationship is stronger than ever and they plan to get married, Metro reports.
