The Estonian U20 team ended the EEVZA tournament with a defeat against Poland, but secured passage

Today, Marten Stopkin, who brought 8 points (+3), Kristjan Unt with 7 points (-9) and Ranel Rahuoja 4 (+1) emerged as the best Estonians. The reception of the Estonian team was 45% and 31% of the attacks were resolved, no blocking points were scored, 2 service aces were hit and 6 errors were made.

Jakub Kiedos was the most successful in Poland with 14 points (+9). Poland’s reception was 51% and attack 55%, 15 points were obtained from blocking and 6 points from serving (7 errors).

Estonia took fourth place in the tournament with one win and three losses. The EEVZA Championships were also the first round of the U20 European Championships selection series. The winner of the tournament directly secured a place in the final of the U20 European Championship 2024, 2nd-4th place also reached the second round.
