In the Estonian indoor football championship, the first draw of the season occurred in the opening round of the second round of the main tournament, when Narva United FC and Jõhvi FC Phoenix drew 3:3 in Narva.

In the eighth round match, played in front of 358 spectators, both teams also managed to be the protagonists of the match. The home team scored the first goal of the match in the 13th minute, but three and a half minutes before the end of the match the visitors were already ahead 2:1. The 2:2 was achieved with only 5.9 seconds remaining in the 20 minutes.

In the middle of the second half the Narva players took the lead again, but three minutes before the end of the match the Jähvi players managed to equalize and the match ended 3:3. Sergei Aleksandrov was the most productive narwhal player of the game with two hits.

Furthermore, the opening match of the football evening dedicated to the 11th birthday of Narva United FC, organized more festively than usual, ended in a draw, where the match between the women’s teams of Narva and the Jõhvi People’s League ended ended 2:2.

A goal-rich match took place in the eighth round of the indoor championship in Jõgeva, where Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet defeated FC Jõgeva Wolves 13:3 (9:2). Antoni scored three goals for the winners: Pfening and Mašinistov.

Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal was better than Rummu Dynamo by 9:4 (2:1) away. Among the winners, Raul Rebane scored three goals, while Dynamo players scored two own goals.

The last match of the eighth round Tallinn FC Bunker Partner – Viimsi FC Smsraha has been postponed to January 10.

Next week there is an international break, where Estonia will travel to Denmark for the Baltic Nordic Cup, which will be held from 12-17. until December.

In this year’s edition the championship will be able to host the matches of the 9th round, where 20.-22. Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal – Tallinna FC Bunker Partner, Jõhvi FC Phoenix – Rummu Dynamo, Viimsi FC Smsraha – Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet and Narva United FC – Jõgeva Wolves will face each other until December.

Before these matches, the standings are as follows (7-8/14): 1. Viimsi FC Smsraha 21, 2. Tartu Vald/Ravens Futsal 18, 3.-4. Tallinna FC Bunker Partner and Sillamäe FC NPM Silmet 15, 5.-6. Narva United FC and Jõhvi FC Phoenix 10, 7. Rummu Dynamo 3, 8. FC Jõgeva Wolves 0 points.

The matches of the first or 10th round of the new year’s general classification will be played on January 6th. The main tournament ends on February 9th. Based on the results of the main tournament, six teams qualify playoff‘i, with the top two teams going directly to the semi-finals.
